Poggio delle Conche is situated 5 kilometres from Pitigliano, a charming small town in the heart of the Grosseto Maremma. The old farm building, which has been restructured recently, strictly in accordance with the original architectural requirements, is situated on a hill which overlooks the whole valley. The building is surrounded by the farm’s own vineyards and is divided into large apartments with every comfort.
THE APARTMENTS
The apartments all have their own entrances. Extremely special care has been taken to furnish them with old Tuscan furniture, carefully restored by local artisans. Some of the accessories are exclusive pieces made by Guido Masè. All the apartments are characteristic, because of the use of terracotta and travertine stone and are in typical Tuscan style. They are large and luminous and each is sub-divided into three rooms: bedroom, bathroom and living room/kitchen area and have central heating, air-conditioning, satellite TV and a comfortable outside space with a table and chairs. Each apartment contains all information on excursions, the timetables of museums and everything to ensure that your holiday in the Maremma is unforgettable.
A large swimming pool on one side of the building is entirely for the use of guests. Its panoramic position enables one not only to swim but to appreciate the view of the valley below at the same time. The building is surrounded by a splendid garden with a barbecue, where guests can organize appetizing grills of Tuscan meat, accompanied by our excellent regional wines. Bicycles are available for excursions in the vicinity.
